Lake Russell WMA

Located in Habersham County near Mount Airy, GA, Lake Russell WMA offers a mix of hiker trails turned mountain biker trails and gravel roads. The official mountain biking trails here are Sourwood, Lady Slipper, Lake Russell Loop, and Rhododendron Trail. We are working with the USFS to rehabilitate the existing trails and to add new trails here. This is a remote area with little signage or mapping. Explore at your own risk.
​The land manager here is the USFS Chattooga Ranger District. Ebikes are not allowed on the trails.
